The successful candidate will possess a high degree of technical aptitude and will ensure extensive hands-on product testing in a thorough, methodical and timely fashion.
• Actively participate in the development and execution of overall system performance testing strategy and plan.
• Maintain and update performance testing automated across multiple platforms.
• Profile slow performing areas of the application and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for performance improvements
• Log and prioritize performance enhancements and work with Engineering and program management team on timely resolutions
• Tune systems for optimal performance and characterize systems on multiple platform and configuration combinations

Qualifications


The ideal candidate for this position should have over 5 years of performance testing experience.
Work experience and skills profile should include:
• Proficiency in performance testing execution and overall methodologies
• Experience in end-to-end product delivery cycle for high-availability systems
• Experience in performance testing in a Java environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Excellent communication skills
 DB/SQL knowledge
• Linux/Unix knowledge

Valuable Skills

In addition, the following are desired:
• Solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML/SOAP
• JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat
• Oracle administration, performance diagnostic, and performance tuning experience
